I have just had multiple emails from plusnet support saying my new email will be ready in 30 minutes, is it a scam

Do you have an email account on PN? Have you set up a new mailbox recently?

Yes I have plusnet email .I haven't done anything different, the email they have allocated has 12 random numbers and letters.

Have you checked the MANAGE MY MAIL options in the user centre to verify that those mail boxes DO NOT EXIST? There is the possibility that your account has been hacked... and that the address creation messages are not a (the) scam.
