is ougoing email server down?

Outgoing messages being bounced back from relay with invalid recipient ...

Just had someone else tell me they've similar unable to send message.

Incoming is fine.

Anyone else?

Error message is

Tested across me.com, gmail.com, outlook.com domains with same response. I'm using Thunderbird 91.7.0 on Windows using relay.plus.net but issue also from another account on an Apple device using whatever email client is default for that account ...

Just checked and webmail sends fine to the same test addresses ...

Andy,

You're looking in the wrong direction ... with the help of an unhelpful error message.

This infers that you are not connected to the Plusnet network and your SMTP server configuration is not set up for AUTHENTICATED connection.

Password authentication set up and SMTP now working - thanks
