Email problems - old madasafish

This seems to be happening more and more oftern now but I have an old madasafish account and yet again we are not receiving emails and can't send any. I've even tried logging into plusnet and all I receive is an error message as follows:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

Does anybody know if plusnet is having issues again?

@lolly9416 I suspect they are - my Mailwasher program can't connect either.

Same problem here, sending through relay.plus.net for own email domain. Incoming seems ok.

This gets worse. Just tried to report this problem. Online support ‘leave a message‘ is not working. Chat option just a robot trying to fix orders. Phone 0800 number given is not recognised! Seems no way to tell them. Let’s hope they read this thread.

MAY be fixed - webmail works, and Mailwasher not complaining.

I've had troubles since Monday PM with my Totalise account.....could this be part of the same issue ? I can't log onto Plusnet webmail or Madasafish account

Probably related - but we'll never know. Never visit the main site, so I wasn't aware.

Really sorry to hear that you're having issues with your email service, we have been having a few issues with our emails and website this afternoon which might have been the cause of some of your issues.

I'm not aware of any other widespread issues to be honest.
