Change Login?

There is a facility to Change the Login - I would like to remove the 1 from my login name, but it says it is taken. I'm almost 100% sure that it is taken by me!

Could an Admin check the email addresses for both accounts; if they are the same domain, then they are both me!

So if Admin have deleted the +1 account, a post to say so would have been nice
