Loading indicator never goes away.

I went in to edit this earlier and I clicked on the page / pencil icon to edit. Having made the change I clicked the save button and window with an animated 'busy' icon and the text 'Loading...' popped up, and never goes away. Using a new tab I can see the update has in fact been made so there appears to be a hiccup with the code.
Also, on a site related note FF Web Developer Tools shows this:

This has always been the case - only on the quick edit - I have no idea why but a page refresh does fix it
However I have always seen that the change has happened even though the busy icon is still there

A bit late to the party on this. Isn't this just one of the issues from http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,128159.0.html ?
I still get that periodically, but I'm not sure what a "quick edit" is?

Have I missed something I thought there was only one "edit" - the Modify button?
I can also get it some times on a normal post

Thank you Jim, I had completely forgotten about / "switched off" to that a very long time ago as I always use the "Modify" button as that gives direct access to Rich Text, Smileys and Attachments whereas "Quick Edit" doesn't.
I can get the issue even using the "Modify" button.
