Site Errors (Slow pages, slow posting, connection reset, uploads failing)

Starting a new thread with a clear title to attract attention.
We've made changes to the way the load balancers in front of the servers work.
I'm hopeful that this will have solved some of the issues we've seen about connection reset errors, posts taking ages, images not uploading and random errors in router logs.
Can you let me know if you've seen improvements to this?

Morning Kelly,
Initial impression is that things are much improved. The forum is much more responsive today.
That said I have seen one "more than one list in 5 seconds from your IP address" graving just pressed post after spending 5 minutes writing a reply. Will monitor for a repeat.

I thought the 5 second thing was just me - it happened around 10-15 seconds after posting the picture.
First time I've seen it on this forum - I don't type that quickly !

I recall seeing it years ago as a facet of double-post inhibition - something which seems to have been dysfunctional of recent times.

We've rolled back the config changes I'm concerned about the double post stuff triggering. Ops are looking again at it now.

First post with image no problem if a bit slow
Edited post with additional image - usual problem - see screen cap where the second image is there but the original window is still not doing anything
and this post had the same problem - it is still showing as connecting while I am typing this

Forums seem somewhat sluggish this morning. Saw a "session has timed out" whilst I was posting, even though I have "stayed logged in" set. Not seen this for a good while.
What is the state of the fixes which were backed out please?

Sending PMs has been excruciatingly slow most of the time as well in the last 2 days!
