email notifications

They don't seem to be working for me although my profile says they are
This one in particular where Chilly posted twice to my original post and I didn't get any notification

On the portals and PUG, the forums have their own copy of our email address which (I think) is initially copied from the sign-up (profile) address. If the same applies on Community it's possible your forum address has become blank - that once happened to me on the portal and results in no messages.
AFAIK we have to request a moderator to check/change our forum email address (via PM). Once set up the connection between the profile address (which we can change) and forum address seems to disappear.
If my thoughts are correct it occurs to me it should be reported as a bug. Will you or would you prefer me to do that?

I believe that there is an issue with the notification and registration e-mails.

I have checked all that and I should be getting them.
In fact I used to but they have stopped and I haven't changed anything
I posted elsewhere about the potential problems with 100's or 1,000's of registration requests in a short time causing system breakdown but I didn't realise that a problem would arise as soon as this.

Apologies for the duff information in my earlier post. At a more sensible hour I've realised I don't receive notification emails either, though I used to. From memory this seems to originate about the time the site was moved to new hardware. Is there a connection?
However the doubt in my mind still exists concerning the relationship between the email address shown in our profiles (which we can change) and any hidden one used by the forum software when notifying of new posts. Is there, in fact, a hidden email address and if so does it get updated automatically if we change the profile one?

Not receiving notification of replies

If this has already been raised, then I'm sorry, but I can't find it anywhere in this board.
Although I'm sure I have all my options set-up correctly, and my e-mail address entered correctly, I never receive e-mails when there are replies to posts that I'm interested in, or when I receive a PM.
Is this affecting anybody else, or just me?

I'm receiving notifications correctly (I received the notification of your post as this is a topic I'm watching) - I do however have the When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.) option on - I wonder if that might be the difference?

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately, I didn't get an e-mail telling me about your post, so it still doesn't work.
I've checked, and this is one of the topics that I am monitoring.
Since I seem to be the only person that this is affecting, it's bound to be something stupid that I'm doing, but I can't see what.
