Any chance we could have a colour change on the forum ,
its a bit over powering on the old eyes
too much purple

I agree which is why I use Stylish in Firefox to change it
This is the code which gives this result (I blanked out the bit which only moderators and staff can see)

I don't have a problem with the pink/purple, if anything it is quite unique and distinctive.
I find the white background helpful for illuminating my laptop keyboard so I can type with the lights switched off.

I agree with purleigh, I think the existing colours are fine As Jim said when they were changed it caused a lot of controversy . Leave well alone IMO.

Exactly how colours appear will depend on your monitor / display and how adjusted or "correctly calibrated" it is (or more likely isn't).
