Account name not valid

I have 2 accounts with Plusnet. On pc2 the account name is atbs1 and that on the other pc(1) is atbs2. I logged into the plusnet web on this pc(1) using atbs2 but I can't log on to the forums using this user name! Anyone an idea as to why not?

Have you tried registering on the forums with the second username as I can't see any record of it.

That username isn't associated with a Community Site username. You'll need to register it if you'd like to be able to sign in with that one too.

Thanks Oldjim and Chris. I've been aound the forums for so long a time that I'd forgotten about the registration for a different user number. However I still think that double registration on a site is silly - but there you go.
