Finding past threads

Can the forum do a search option to find past threads or thinking of having one so I can see if there is a past thread looking at an issue has been raised or not.

there is a type of search button at the top, but theses two are better

For searching the forums use site:community.plus.net in google search box and hit enter you go here
If you add slim jim..... site:community.plus.net slim jim it takes you to thread you were looking for here

I am not sure what you want,
You can use the Search option on the toolbar at the top or you can use Google as per this stickied post
