All the plusnet staff members look the same. The purpose of an avatar is to facilitate identification of different posters through graphic representation. If you have to check the name every time you see the same avatar then it renders it worse than useless.
I'm not saying that you should ditch the logo, just that you all (or "y'all") use it in conjunction with personal identifiers, please.
Using "facilitate" makes me sound awfully posh. Anyone for tennis?

Staff are still using personal avatars, its just that their `forum rank` image is a lot larger so looks like an avatar.
Aha! I see it now. Thanks chillypenguin.
I had an idea that I could make them all little avatars on post-it notes and stick them to the screen but it didn't work very well in practice. Every time I scrolled down I had to move the post-it notes too. It all got too cumbersome so I went and made some toast instead.
