      <description>this is simple machines, it can be done.&amp;nbsp; could we have these buttons please?&amp;nbsp; it's a bore having to use the slide bar, especially on long threads.</description>

      <description>if your simple machine is not a mac, the home button goes to the top, the end button goes to ( guess what)</description>

      <description>my simple machine is a PC running Vista 64 bit and those buttons have no effect in Firefox but do work in IE7</description>

      <description>I still think it'd be useful having the 'home' button at the foot of the page.&lt;BR /&gt;I use a programmed button on my mouse to acheive the same thing, but I'd prefer to use the button for other stuff....</description>

      <description>Of course, the home/end keys (and the cursor up/down keys) only work as desired if the page has focus. If you give the focus to an individual Reply by mistake, none of these keys work. (I use IE7 on XP.) What is the point of allowing individual posts take the focus off the page as a whole?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
