Hi,
I would like the behaviour after posting a reply to be changed. At the moment it takes you back to the first page of the forum overview. This makes it hard to find the thread again especially if it is not on the first page.
I think the behaviour on the old forums was better where you could go straight back to your own post.
M
[Please feel free to move this to another section. I can't delete it myself]
Mmm. I'd agree with that.
Having to go back all the time to double check things can be a bit of a pain.

It's not just to double check (although I sometimes let spellling mistakes go unnoticed on preview). I find it useful to keep the thread in the browser window and wait for replies by refreshing.
(I'm not always looking for new notification emails).
Thanks.
M
The phpBB method of posting could be adopted; after posting you get two options of "return to forum" or "return to post"?
I have to agree I much prefer it going back to the thread.

You can set that in your profile
Select profile (at top) then Look and Layout Preferences and tick Return to topics after posting by default.
