One thing I have just noticed with Lithium is when a mod or superuser does something to a post. On the unread topic list it will list them as the author?
Maybe I am missing something, but that should stay with the OP?

Remember that only mods can do anything to a post.

I do know that
I was a mod and admin of my own forum a few years back.

Maybe it's just the design of the forums, if so that's the way it is I guess. Not a big issue at the end of the day.

I just think the author should be the OP, not a mod if the mod has edited it.

I've just looked through all the pages of the unread topics and the only ones with moderator names are the new topics created by the moderators when a topic is moved. The original topic retains the OPs name.

Mods become authors when a topic is moved.

SMF forum software works the same - the mod who moves a topic is shown as the author of the 'redirection topic' but the OP remains the author of the moved topic.
