I used the text service diagnostics bot to report a fault after several weeks of frequently dropped connection. They found there's a fault on the line and they're arranging an engineer to fix it without me needing to make an appointment. Does anyone know roughly how long these things usually take, or if they report afterwards that they've fixed it?

Thanks

@Cordate Whenever I've used the automated system, they have given me an estimate (usually 2 to 3 days as @jab1 says). But it's always been fixed before the estimate. Although it depends on where, or how complicated the fix is.

In my case I've also found that after the service is working normally again, I receive a notification that it's been fixed. But in one case I wasn't notified until the following day.
