OK, we know what possibly caused it, so there is no harm in calling support and asking them to do a reset.

If that works, the router is irrelevant.

Before long I will switch to FTTP with Plusnet, however at the moment my line appears to have become banded on a lower speed than I have had for a long time. Please could I request a DLM reset?

If that has happened we need to know why, before any DLM reset is performed. First question, so we know how to advise: which router are you using?

It happened after an engineer spent time working on the pole that feeds the house - through that time the internet services was intermittent, together with phone service. After that the service appeared to be banded at exactly 27400k, which is listed as the hand back threshold for this line on the BT checker.

The router is a Draytek 2862
