      <title>Delay in downloading email and missing graphics, pictures and logos</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 2 iPhones and 2 iPads connected to my WiFi network. &amp;nbsp;Iphone15 is great with no delays and shows all graphics, pictures and logos in emails. &amp;nbsp;It does not have WiFi assist switched on so is using WiFi. &amp;nbsp; iPhone SE and 2 x 10th gen iPads are struggling to download emails, do not show logos, pictures or graphics in the emails. &amp;nbsp;When the emails do finally appear in inbox they may appear a day later , 2 hours later or later in the day. &amp;nbsp;When I open one of these downloaded emails the wheel of death shows up and might take up to 30 secs to open it without showing graphics, pictures. &amp;nbsp; When I take my devices to other networks and logon, my emails download instantly, open instantly and show all content. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;When others come to my house and join my network they experience similar problems. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; This is telling me several things but basically that my IOS devices work perfectly well when on someone else’s network and other people’s devices work ok on their networks but not on mine. &amp;nbsp;Common factor is that my network is causing the problem. &amp;nbsp;I have had a router swap and still have the same problems. &amp;nbsp;Plusnet had me contact Apple and all my devices have had resets of network settings and diagnostic tests. &amp;nbsp;Not a surprise to me because they all work fine on other people’s networks. &amp;nbsp;Plusnet think it my devices at fault. Why would 3 devices show the same fault a week ago? &amp;nbsp;Any suggestions anyone?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Mister W, I’m not aware I have it enabled. We have been using Plusnet for about 7-8 years now and we have changed nothing in settings on my Account recently. Everything worked like a dream until last week when we returned from holiday and logged into our WiFi which has suddenly affected these 3 Apple devices.</description>

&lt;P&gt;In that case, maybe either your or neighboring wifi networks have changed which channels are in use and thus more interference is occuring. Are the devices with problems connecting to the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz band ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I suggest downloading a wifi analyser app and looking at the channel allocation of your and adjacent networks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Mister W, to answer your questions: the devices affected are all WiFi connected ( not Ethernet) and are on the 5 GHz band. &amp;nbsp;To muddy the waters slightly, Plusnet had me swap the HubTwo router I have had for about 3 years for a new HubTwo router they sent me about a year ago but this did not cure the problems with the devices. &amp;nbsp;Rather frustratingly I have taken all &amp;nbsp;3 of the affected devices to other people’s networks and they behave perfectly! &amp;nbsp; i.e. they download immediately, they open the emails immediately and shows all pictures/graphics/logos. &amp;nbsp; Also my friend is here atm with her iPad and iPhone and they are working perfectly for her. &amp;nbsp; If it was an interference issue wouldn’t she be affected?&lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.plus.net/html/@3681646702FDFD32BCA97E2E5F1BDDD5/images/emoticons/huh.gif" alt="Huh" title="Huh" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;things like thermostats , wifi bird boxes are almost certainly connected to the 2.4 ghz band as they dont usually support 5 ghz.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hvae you looked at the Hub 2 network display to check what band devices are &lt;STRONG&gt;actually&lt;/STRONG&gt; connected to ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I doubt this will work but on each phone go to wifi settings where it shows list of networks and delete any it has remembered which are not yours. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Another is to pause any cloud backup to see if that could be causing issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You mention that plusnet sent another hub a while back which you ve recently tried? Was that hub sent to solve the same issue or a different issue?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Friend’s devices are connected to 5 GHz band by WiFi &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You are correct that thermostats, bird box and very old printers are connected to 2.4 GHz. &amp;nbsp;Yes I have checked what is connected where. &amp;nbsp; The 3 Apple devices giving problems are all connected by WiFi on 5GHz band &amp;nbsp; I have 19 devices connected in total. 12 by WiFi, 7 by Ethernet. &amp;nbsp; 3 are on 2.4 band (bird box, thermostats, old printer) all by WiFi. &amp;nbsp;Rest on 5 GHz band&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It seems to be just the Apple devices and TBH I have little experience of them but what I do recall, is that they have a propensity to use encrypted DNS ( DNS over https or DNS over TLS). That might be an avenue worth exploring...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I wonder if all that have problems use the same version and all that don't have issues are using another version.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you also tried changing the DNS on the non-working devices to something like 8.8.8.8? Or if they are set to that, clear it so it uses the DNS provided by the plusnet router?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
