ITVx /Channel 5 won't download

Hi all, we have been with Plusnet a number of years. we recently renewed our contract, and have found we can't watch programs on ITVX or Channel 5. We get normal internet and youtube. When we click on ITV X it goes through the adverts fine and sometimes will start a few seconds of the program then stop. repeating again same day or another it will get to the same place again and stop. Any ideas? Please

Hi no messages, it just stops. On one program it went through to the same place each time and stopped. We've tried |BBC and Prime and both are ok.

I have seen a security message pop up a couple of times recently at the start of a programme on C5 stream now … and on the third attempt all is fine.

I have also seen programmes fail at the same point on Netflix. They were fixed by reloading Netflix. Might be worthwhile power cycling your streaming device … they are after all glorified computers these days.

Hi Ive just been reinstalling the ITV hub, and couldn't enter my password correctly. So went through the usual on the computer ended up with ITV hub on my laptop and a film streamed off ITV hub, tried it on the TV with a bit of stopping it played.

So tried a program we'd started to watch that stopped at the same place every time and it you guessed it stopped at the same place again.

Could be a fault with the stream. Would be worth asking ITVX support.
