Are you sure that it's WiFi only that's dropping? Have you got anything connected via an Ethernet cable that's doing the same?

If not can you check by connecting directly to your hub via Ethernet? Long cables are not expensive https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ethernet-Cable-Snagless-Connector-Shielded/dp/B09X2NG8K8?ref_=Oct_d_oup_d_49990024031_0&pd_rd_w=uF91n&content-id=amzn1.sym.fa69846b-9fc4-43e6-ab22-4ae0316c22fa&pf_rd_p=fa69846b-9fc4-43e6-ab22-4ae0316c22fa&pf_rd_r=RKANACWTJ7CYVJPB17ZA&pd_rd_wg=JpBAQ&pd_rd_r=83fe60a1-7be9-4b7b-95fc-7fb3cdb1f495&pd_rd_i=B09X2NG8K8&th=1

My WiFi connection started dropping on Wednesday last week and I went through the usual steps of checking all the cables were connected, turned it off and on again, etc. then went through the Refresh and spoke to a customer services person 3 times over three days.

None of them could find an issue with my line/router and all of them changed the channel I was on.

I am getting intermittent WiFi connection (it was working from 7-8am), but have to restart the router.

The last guy said there maybe too many people on the same channel as me and to keep changing it until I find one that doesn’t make me drop.

Apparently Plusnet only guarantees a constant connection via Ethernet and not WiFi.

Anyone else had the same issue? I work from home and it’s driving me mad

D/load WIFI analyser app; it'll show which WIFI channels are most in use in your locale.
Then choose one not in use, or showing little activity.
