So I've been with plus net 2 years or so now, last Wednesday my Internet stopped working. I tried all the usual, restarting the router resetting it disconnecting and reconnecting and it didn't work. Contacted support and they had me go through all the same thing to no avail so they sent me out a new router
Fast forward to today and I've set the router up, put my login details into the router admin. Still the same problem.
I've got a blue light on the router though so anyone have any ideas what's wrong? I'll phoning support again tomorrow after work but if I can fix it without them I'd appreciate it

I've got a blue light on the router though so anyone have any ideas what's wrong? I

@Jlenehan83 if you go to the router on 192.168.1.254 and then click 'advanced settings' , then 'technical log' and enter the router admin password, does the username show your account name or is it 'setup@plusdsl.net' ?

If its 'setup' then click disconnect and enter your username as <youraccountname>@plusdsl.net and your account password ( the one you use to access the member centre ) then click connect

If you navigate to >Advanced settings >Broadband not only can you check the username you can change it at the same time.

You have to disconnect the connection before changing the username

HTH
