Hi there, I'd like to request to add a PTR record for my static IP, how do I go about this please?

@wonforty you post here and one of the staff members will pick it up and request the details either via a 'ticket' or PM

There are 3 options for a PTR (rDNS) record

1) the default <accountname>.plus.com

2) <ip address>.plus.com

3) if you have a domain , then it can be set to match a forward 'A' record pointing to the static IP

@adamwalker I would also like to do the same. Unfortunately I called through on the help line and was told it was not possible to setup a rDNS other than the default. I'm hoping you can assist me please?

Also, apologies for jumping on someone else's thread, but my request is exactly the same and didn't seem to warrant a new thread.

Just an update for anyone interested, my request was fulfilled and Plusnet sorted out the requested rDNS for me no problem.
