&lt;P&gt;There is a bit of leeway as to where the ONT box (the incoming signal) goes -you talk to the installer on the day. If you want it in a different location to the current Master Socket they'll have a look and see if it's possible. That's one power socket.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your router also requires power and could easily be powered by an adapter along with the ONT to leave the second socket free. However, the router connects vial ethernet cable so can go any where you're happy to run cable if you want a different location.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, just chose to switch to FF but understand there needs to be double electric socket where the new wall device is placed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Will it be possible to put a socket adapter on at least one of the sockets for when we want to use it for other stuff also?&lt;/P&gt;
