No broadband connection

Today's the fourth day without Internet. How long should I wait for this to be fix, because take already to long. I haven't got any answer from the support team or engineers only from the robot. All what I got from modem is an intermittent orange light. I don't have a phone line. I did a reset and trying a different filter. Please help.

If you have checked all your cables are securely clicked into place, and have done a reset (which is strictly necessary), then cal PN support and ask them to run more in depth tests. The robot testing is not infallible, and can't pick up all faults.

Well thanks for your time. But I did all what you said. I did a call but after 30 min waiting. I give up. But in the end, I got an answer from my ticket. They found an issue and they book, for me an appointment for an engineer next week from 08:00 to 01:00. But I am home only after 5 o'clock or Friday after 1 o'clock or în The weekend. It is not my first issue from PlusNet. I can not get a holiday each time they must visit my property. I must work in that time. I have a rent to pay. So I suppose I must watch how to cancel my contract and find other provider.

@saidalinneagoe No - just reply on the ticket, asking for an appointment more suitable to you. Note that Openreach do not usually do weekend appointments.

But what about Friday after one o'clock or in the rest of the week after 5 ?

Sorry - misread your post above - just reply asking for a Friday PM slot. Openreach work in two 'slots' per day Monday to Friday 8AM-1PM or 1PM-6PM - they do nt give a specific hour within those slots, as the engineer will have more than one job on his list, and they don't know how long each will take.

You could always ring them on 0330 123 9123 - the call centre is open 8AM-8PM . Just make sure you have the ticket number available when you do call.

I'm on my 4th week without connection and no communication from them . The worst service ever. I'm leaving Plusnet asap and would advise anyone to avoid them like the plague .

I got a smarty sim card with 20 pounds pay as you go you got unlimited data.

Yes I just did I told him any time in weekend during the week after 5 pm or Friday after 1 o'clock pm

OK - in that case, he should be able to arrange a Friday PM slot, As I said OpenReach don't do domestic repairs at weekends, and the slot is 5 hours wide - you do not get a time any narrower.
