Hi Gareth, welcome to the forums. They are not closely mionitored by the staff so I would advise you to phone Plusnet immediately, having your details ready. You should be entitled to daily compensation for a break in service. Good luck!

Activation Delay

So after a long wait to get my activation date due to a cease on the line my FTTC broadband was supposed to be activated yesterday.

I had about two hours of internet from about 7-9AM and then the router dropped connection and started flashing orange. Apparently an Openreach engineer was doing something in the cabinet about 5PM last night and an advisor told me that it could be up to midnight before it's available.

Checked again this morning and still the same flashing orange. I've checked all the cables, tried multiple sockets including the master socket, reboot and reset connected to each socket and no luck.

Any idea what else I can try or am I just waiting for the advisor to call me back and hoping? I'm burning through my mobile data as I work from home and it's going to start getting expensive.
