What happened to the service status button as you've now got to text for assistance?

My interent has been disconnecting now every night for the last two weeks and while I know they are conducting a FTTP service upgrade in the area I natrually expected some outages, however this morning the service is absolutely shocking.

my router has been reset three times and while is says the internet service is connected its like having a dial up conection, can anyone advise is there an issue this morning in the south wales area?

Thanks

The FAULT text in response to PlusNet’s SMS generated by calling their support number (0800 432 0200) is a useful “thing”, but I wonder why it’s only available *within* their office hours?

Shurely, they can do the automated checks OoO and then allow you to get in the queue with the ADVISOR response option? But maybe that’d generate a long queue of people before they open their virtual doors for business each morning…when there’s a generic fault that might go away by itself (OK - by being fixed an over-worked, under-paid crew of BT wage-slaves)

So here’s a suggestion that might help - re-instate the chuffin’ Status Page that indicated whether & where PN had a problem? You might find you get …fewer callers complaining to your staff?

https://community.plus.net/t5/Broadband/Service-status/td-p/1934052
https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Feedback/bring-back-a-working-status-page/td-p/1970426
https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Feedback/What-has-happened-to-PlusNet-service/m-p/1947462

If we have to start looking elsewhere, who knows what we’ll find…
Rather than relying on third-parties?
https://downdetector.co.uk/status/plusnet/

And yes, I do have this problem, and yes, I did click the button to join the other 650 bods who could have also raised support requests with PN, and yes, I am annoyed that my ISP of twenty years appears to be circling the customer service plug-hole.

#En[-Censored-]ification …is what Cory Doctorow calls IT … albeit without the auto-censor’s intervention!
#Ensh!tification
#Ensh1tification
#Embuggerance
#[-Censored-]sMuddle

Thanks for your patience and I'm sorry you are having an issue with your connection.

The issue should now be resolved, please can you reboot the router and try to connect.
