    <description>I've been with Plusnet for over a year and I've never had any issues with my broadband until about 10 days ago when the router started intermittently dropping out and flashing orange.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's been happening daily since then with the internet dropping out multiple times a day. Sometimes it will reconnect and turn blue only to start flashing orange again after a minute or two.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It can go hours without any drop outs so I'm not really sure what the problem could be. I did try resetting the router but that doesn't seem to have helped as it went out for over an hour yesterday evening.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any advice would be really appreciated &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.plus.net/html/@104CD63F9302A50EF5EC70FE32BB8AA1/images/emoticons/smiley.gif" alt="Smiley" title="Smiley" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;First thing to check: Is your phoneline clear? Dial 17070 (preferably from a corded phone), select option 2. Once your phone number is confirmed, there should be silence on the line except for the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message - any other noise, report a PHONE problem via: &lt;A href="https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the phone test passes, report a broadband problem via: &lt;A href="https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Let us know the result - if the tests come back as clear but you still have a problem, we need to investigate further.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The above assumes you still have 'normal' landline connection - if you have a SOGEA (internet only) one, just use the second link to report a network issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you for the advice. I don't have a landline phone so I'll have to go and buy one to test it.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just use the second link in that case - although a cheap corded handset is useful IF you are not on a SoGEA product.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
