Banded?

@willcutforth

I reported a fault to BT on Oct 23 because of broadband connection drop-outs and noise on the quiet line test. An OpenReach engineer came two days later and said three other houses on my street had reported a similar problem. He tested my interior connections and left. BT texted two hours later that the fault had been fixed. My broadband has been stable for the last three weeks. I presume the training period has ended but the download speed is way below what I was getting before the fault. Here are the stats before the problem:
ADSL Link               Downstream     Upstream
Connection Speed 20246 kbps 1087 kbps
Line Attenuation 22 db 4 db
Noise Margin 3 db 6 db

The latest stats from my Netgear router after a reboot and the BT Performance Test are attached. Can you or any of your mates help?

@redsox9 your downstream SNR is way too high, you need a DLM reset after the fault being fixed.

You say you reported the fault to BT , so Im guessing that your line rental is with BT and your BB with Plusnet. That means the fault was treated as a voice fault and so the Openreach engineer wouldnt have been able to request a DLM reset via BT.

The reset has been popped through. Technically I'm supposed to follow through the trouble-shooter but I am a troublemaker who can't be tamed.

Let us know how it goes.
