cannot enable static ip address

Service went live 3rd October all good, I paid the £5.00 to get a static ip however I cannot enable it, I have clicked on enable static ip and restarted router but it still says your usubg dynamic ip, can someone please help me with this

I is worth noting that the Plusnet static address is still allocated dynamically - it is just that it will always allocate the same address (in a different address range to the randomly allocated dynamic addresses).

This sometimes causes confusion.

Thank you for sorting this so quick, I presume that it will 24hrs to populate as when I run whats my ip check it still thinks its 146. etc

@fatherjack666 If you just give the router a reboot it will be active immediately.

Hi @fatherjack666

You need to drop the PPPoE login to Plusnet & reconnect, or turn the router off and on again, to pick up the static IP address.
