Internet turned off suddenly and can reconnect

One minute I had an a connection next it was gone. I have orange light tried restarting and its not happening. How stupid there's no help after 8pm. All I want is to get my Internet back up and I need it for work in the morning 😡

@Lozzat58 That's the nature of faults - ne second it woks, the next it doesn't.

First thing to check: Is your phoneline clear? Dial 17070 (preferably from a corded phone), select option 2. Once your phone number is confirmed, there should be silence on the line except for the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message - any other noise, report a PHONE problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/phone/

If the phone test passes, report a broadband problem via: https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/

Let us know the result - if the tests come back as clear but you still have a problem, we need to investigate further.

Thank you for the advice I can’t test the line as I sent a text and they replied saying they are testing the lines many thanks let’s hope it can be sorted 😊

You could put your phone area code into the Zen Broadband Status checker to see if there is a known fault or scheduled maintenance in your area ?

Last night I had a ten minute loss of broadband - but I knew it was coming in advance because that checker gives warning of maintenance for the next seven days.

Hi all it has just come back on after they checked the line and said it was all working so don’t know why it went off.
