Route flashing

Currently have no internet with the router flashing red.
I have reset the box and unplugged it also but it hasn't worked.

What else should I do now?

Is your phone line clear? - Dial 17070 and select option 2 - there should be no noise apart from the regular 'Quiet Line Test' message. Have you recently suffered from thunder/lightening - which may have damaged overhead cables?

Thanks for the speedy reply. I don't own a telephone to make that test.

Lost Internet before we had thunder and lightning this afternoon.

Telephones (cheap ones can be obtained from the likes of Argos) are essential tools when you are on an ADSL/FTTC connection, but no matter.

Assuming you know your phone number, enter it into this link: Zen Broadband Status , and see if there is an OpenReach issue in your area.

If not, contact Plusnet and report your problem.

I found a fault on the external line @RyanL987 it is a disconnection somewhere. It should be fixed within 72 hours.

Hi Will,
I don't believe the issue has been sorted as my camera hasn't come back online yet.
Luckily I'm away with work ATM but will need my internet back for Friday.

Is there any update please?

@RyanL987 It's only 25 hours since Will posted, I think you will have to wait a bit longer, it might be fixed by Friday if you are lucky.

No update as of yet but like @RealAleMadrid said it will be closer to Friday that it will come back on. 13/07/23 23:59:59 is the exact ERT
