Action needed for Plus Net

A message flashed across my laptop screen this morning. It said "Action needed for Plus Net".

Has anyone any idea what this means? What action is needed?

My laptop uses Windows 10 in case there's any significance in that.

@woodscooter Welcome to the forums. How long have you been a PN customer, and what were you doing at the time? Never heard of this happening before.

I am wondering if the message was related to your wireless network connection assuming you're using wireless and the default SSID name of PLUSNET-<random characters> eg PLUSNET-UHT2SD.

A internet search show reports of this error "Action needed for .......", more details would be needed for further assistance from the community and a screenshot of the message. I would however suggest it is a window 10 related issue.

I would ignore the message unless you see it regularly bit if you are interested in the error, there may or not be an entry in the windows event log

To check Windows Key or Start search for >Event Viewer Then click on >Windows log >System and Windows log>Application look for an error around the time you noticed the error.

Thanks @Dan_the_Van . Must admit I was thinking initially of a virus. Something I wouldn't be able to recreate - don't use Windows or Plusnet - now.
