I'm looking to get a LTE/4G modem as backup due to ongoing ISP issues. I have had Mifi 4G devices before which accept a SIM and broadcast a WiFi but I want to be able to plug the 4G modem into my router so the home network works as normal.

I have seem 4G modems with ethernet outputs which will definitely let me do this (put Hub in bridging mode) but they cost a fair bit more than cheaper ones with USB-out only. What I can't tell is if the Hub 2 will accept a modem into its USB port or not - has anyone tried this?

Thanks for any expereince (and product recommendations) you may be able to share. I need reliable internet for work so I will spend what I need (I potentially loose hundreds of pounds a day without internet), but I don't want to spend more than I need just for the sake of it.
