Hub 2 and ADSL

My daughter is in the process of upgrading her broadband from ADSL to FTTC. She has just received anew Hub 2 by post. Does she need to wait to get a message that FTTC is set up and running before she sets up the new hub or can she set up the hub and use it on the existing ADSL broadband?

Hey there @trymyluck she should be able to plug it in and use it straight away. There shouldn't be any issues but let us know if there is.

I can confirm that my daughter's Hub 2 is working ok on her ADSL broadband connection with a download speed showing 17.4mps, an upload speed of 1.4mps and a response time of 18ms. The accuracy of the speed test site might be questionable of course. She is awaiting a call from Plusnet to say when the FTTC service to be set up.
