Broadband has just completely down this morning is there a reason why do you know? I see down detector show a few people in the same boat

Same boat here..

and https://plusnet.servicestatus.net/ seems to be down too.. so you can't check service status

We had the same problem but all working now. Suspect it was either a DNS slow response problem or exceptionally high Internet traffic.

I see several thousand people have reported complete breakdown of PlusNet services on DownDetector.

We are down too - blue light on but no service 😡 seems like a problem for many

I'm still down too. Looks like a dhcp issue as my router is connecting but it has been given a private 10. Address.

Seen a couple of threads on this .. I will check my PlusNet connection a bit later.

Any noise on the landline?

Just wondering if it could be congestion as the networks may be busy at the moment.

Land line absolutely fine, no noise. Broadband just cut out and hasn't returned since like probably a lot of others

Ok I am wondering if there is a major outage and you all live in a similar area.

I don't think there is a problem with our connection or I'll hear about it. Sorry that sounds arrogant and rude, I don't mean it to come across that way.

I'm Devon and a few people in my are haven't got Internet either, it looks like a major outage. Down detector has thousands of reports all over the uk

Norwich, work I IT, normally work from home fortunately on holiday today.
Line is fine used the Plusnet text service and it texted back.
Have a high quality router which was working fine then the internet went down. Not come back up since.
Restarted the router multiple times, pretty sure it is a Plusnet outage of some sort

In Norwich - broadband has gone down in the middle of upgrading my server from openSUSE Leap 15.3 to 15.4. Just got to pray it comes up again.

Yes a 10. IP is a private range one I believe?

Had a quick look on Facebook and people are mentioning it on there too.

My PlusNet connection is in South East London, around 15 miles from the centre and no-one has complained to me .. yet.

Yeah, I get a 10 IP address, when I reset the router it got a different 10 IP address

It has just come back here, Brentwood, Essex. The Sun was reporting the outage.
