I moved house with Plusnet this week. Service went live on Monday.

I am supposed to be getting speeds in the region of 35mbs.

Every single speed test (wired connection) I do, the down is never more than 10mbs, and up never more than 1mbs.

My speeds are not fluctuating, it would seem my line has been set up for an ADSL connection, rather than FTTC.

How do I get this resolved? Is an engineer visit required. I cannot work with speeds this slow.

@kstev7 Welcome to the Community forum.

Which hub have you got? Depending on which one it is somewhere you will find a reference to the service you are on. If you can find a reference G.992.x then you have been wrongly provisioned on to ADSL. If it’s G.993.x then you are on FTTC and have a fault. Report that here https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/.

If you can’t find the reference tell us which hub that you have, see. https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-information/ and we can advise.

Hi @Baldrick1
I'm on a brand spanking new hub 2. I cannot find a reference to any service as you've described I'm afraid
Barely had internet at all this morning, constant flashing orange ring.

On a Hub 2 log in to it select Status and at the top it should show the connection type as VDSL:

It looks like that you’ve been provisioned on the wrong service. If a Plusnet staffer doesn’t come along I’m afraid that you will have to ting in.
