@Dimple These disruptions have to cover more than somewhere as small as Matlock to make it to the Plusnet service status pages. Where on BT were you looking?

Must admit I can't find anything on my ISPs status page, either, but it could just be a localised area problem that hasn't made it to a 'serious' state yet.

The internet dropped in the Matlock area at around 14.15 today. PlusNet confirmed it is an area issue yet there is no mention of it on the PlusNet service status or BT pages.

Anyone else affected in Derbyshire?

Got this from PlusNet:

Hi, it's the PlusNet Diagnostics bot here.
We have tested your service, and identified it is being affected by an incident in your local area.
Incident detected: 01-Aug-2022 14:32
Estimated clear: 02-Aug-2022 14:45
Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope to have you back up and running as soon as possible

It’s a BT issue as everyone affected that I’ve spoken to is with different providers.

24 hours to fix sounds serious.

'Your local area' could be just the area covered by two or three local cabinets. If OpenReach have only quoted 24 hours for a 'clear', that suggests it is not that serious, and the chances are it will be sorted way before the 'clear' time they have quoted.

Hi there,

I'm really sorry to see your broadband stopped working in your village. I've tested your line and I can see the incident has been marked as resolved now and looks like you were back up and running as of yesterday morning?
