There was another recently with same problem, either the router or power supply is dead. If still within the 12 month contract window to get it free, phone up and get a replacement, if not you would have to pay for postage and agree to a 12 month lockin again.

Have had a solid red power light for about 3 hours now. Happened very suddenly and have tried everything I can to awaken it. Tried calling phone support but call times of 45 minutes are discouraging. Don't know if anyone else has or is having the same issue. Is the router dead?

Can you try leaving your router off for 5 mins (at the mains) and then try turning it on again?
