    <description>I'm not so sure it would, we actually used to do it but there were tiny numbers of views on that board. The information is already available across a few different places so I'm not sure adding another would gain much benefit. Happy to be proved wrong though?</description>

      <description>Lost my Plusnet Broadband 00:30 this morning, just as I had set up many tabs to view / download.&lt;BR /&gt;My Browser ?&lt;BR /&gt;Checked with Plusnet Service Status on &lt;SPAN style="color:blue;"&gt;&lt;B&gt;&lt;B&gt;0800 917 6714&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, which informed me of BT Broadband Maintenance between midnight and 6am.&lt;BR /&gt;This is an excellent service Plusnet provide, if you don't know it already, note this number, as your first port of call if Broadband Issues arise.&lt;BR /&gt;There is also the Plusnet Service Status webpage, &lt;SPAN style="color:red;"&gt;&lt;B&gt;but you need Internet access to view that !!&lt;/B&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://portal.plus.net/supportpages.html?a=2&amp;amp;?helpheader=servicestatus" target="_blank"&gt;https://portal.plus.net/supportpages.html?a=2&amp;amp;?helpheader=servicestatus&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

If people see them on forum because they don't see them anywhere else, it will save us and you time in phone calls and the appearance on forum of a number of new threads on the same issue when people have a problem. It would be easier for me, at least. I've only ever seen service status updates that I've been directed to from here - and typically after the fact. Otherwise, they're not easy to find ... 'across a few different places'. I would have thought the forum got more views than, say the usergroup (which I find nigh on impossible to find anything useful there).</description>
