topic BT Speedtester - 3 hour time lock relaxed in Community Announcements

Might be of interest to some.
Just stumbled across this from a recently circulated BT Wholesale briefing. It's effective immediately AFAIK:
[quote author="BT Wholesale"]The time restriction on the BT Wholesale broadband performance tester has been reduced to 1 hour.
Time Limit Between Successful Tests
To protect the performance tester platform a 3 hour time limit between successful tests was introduced. This was to prevent a number of end user from continually running repetative tests which was causing service degradation for all.
We are pleased to inform you that this restriction has been reduced to 1 hour between successful tests. If the original test is unseccessful the End User will be able to run repeat tests until a successful test is achieved.
