I doubt anyone on here can help but am hopeful of some adviceI

I am 88 and not so sharp as I once was hence my predicament. I have been with Plusnet about 6 years and found out via a call ,i made to ask that my landlinebe discontinued, that I have been paying over £66 per month instead of £27

I had not recieved the email telling me my contract was ending. Plusnet did not have my email addees for some reason

Although wondering why my account was shrinking I failed to see these exhorbitant changes. My income is basic rate pension with income support guarantee, I really need advice on who to contact as I try to get at least some of thhe £440

I'm afraid you were moved onto the "out of contract" rate at the end of your contract. If PN genuinely did not have your email address then you might, just might, be lucky in getting a goodwill payment out of them.

If you are happy with PN then you need to sign up to a new contract to reduce the monthly payment.

As to who to contact I'll leave that to others. A staff member night pick this up, or might not. If not you'll need to phone support.
