Another Early Exit Fee question....and EE contracts

Hi, my current contract with plusnet ends 16th Sept, an im currently paying £27.49 for BB and phone line. So I just recently got the email saying if we dont hear within 30 days we will move you over to EE.

Any ideas what my early exit fee would likely be? Also If I move over to EE the contract length stays the same, and I can choose to leave EE and move to another provider when contract ends in Sept?, which is what I really want to do as the offers for staying with plusnet are very poor. ANyone had any luck haggling for a better deal with them?? lol

@stevenwhit If your contract finishes in September, the early exit fee would be 3x your monthly price, minus a small percentage to account for PN's savings. To get an accurate figure, you would need to call Customer Options on 0800 013 2632.

If you let Plusnet transfer you to EE you will stay on your current contract until September, when you will be free to leave. As this is a continuation of your current deal there is no option to haggle with EE, unless you want to start a new contract with them early

With three months left to the end of your contract, I calculate your early exit fee to be about £35.

Wholesale cost ~	13
Months remaining	3

Monthly charge		27.49
Subtract VAT		22.91
Subtract wholesale cost		9.91
Subtract 1%		9.81
Multiply by months remaining		29.43
Add VAT		35.31
