      <title>Fibre installation mid contract</title>

      <description>Openreach told me they had plans to build in my area. Plans to build to my property weren't confirmed just yet, but they're active in my town. What happens if the installation occurs part way through a 2 year contract? Will my price increase if they switch me to fibre? Can I even switch to a fibre line whilst they're installing? I don't want to take out a 2 year contract if I need to cancel it 3 months from now to take advantage of fibre.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you get the option of Full Fibre part way through your current contract, you can do so without penalty, but you do have to take out another one, at whatever price you can negotiate.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You cannot 'switch while they are installing', but only after WBC FTTP shows as available on:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL&lt;/A&gt; or&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;‘They’ will not switch you to fibre. When it becomes available it is your choice if you wish to transfer to Full Fibre mid contract.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;The exception is if you are on ADSL, which is being phased out and Full Fibre is the only service available to you. Even then ‘they’ need your agreement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
