Question about renewal / fibre

Hi,

I am currently on Unlimited Fibre Extra package and been offered to 'upgrade' to just Fibre. The upgrade seems to be calling itself 'fibre' but still uses part-fibre technology. Also, I would lose my landline.

So, isn't it the same thing? Also, are my speeds and unlimited use going to stay the same if I renewed with this new package?

Any info' would be much appreciated - thanks.

Hi @PabloBruno, The only difference between your Unlimited Fibre Extra package and the 'Fibre' package is just the switch off for the landline portion of your currently provisioned line.

Your download speeds will stay the same and will still be on an unlimited use basis.

Hope this helps clear things up for you!

All the best

In a victory for the marketing people over common sense FTTC is called Fibre while FTTP is called Full Fibre.

The only difference to your account is the loss of your landline. If this matters then you can renew "as is" by phoning PN but be advised you will lose the landline sometime in the foreseeable future.
