Contact number not working

Hi

Everytime I try to call them it says there not open for the festive period?

Can anyone advise.

Hi yes that's the number I've tried.
It's the billing department I'm trying to reach.

AFAIK Billing only work normal office hours Mon-Fri. I dont know for sure, but there's a pretty good chance they don't work Public holidays.

The 0330 number works. At what point do you get that strange message - as soon as you dial it, or when you select the billing option from the menu?

It says "as its the festive period our opening hours have temporarily changed"

Do you mean that you can select the billing department, and then you get the message? If so, they (billing) are obviously not manned today, it being a public holiday.

I have just checked, and got straight through to the department. Can you try using a different mobile - or even a landline?

That's so strange? Can you send the exact number you tried and unfortunately I don't have another phone to use.

It's still doing it, soon as i get the opening hours message it hangs up

The only thing I can think then is that somehow the call is being wrongly routed. Who is your mobile provider?

@Canale1991 If you are calling from the phone number registered on the account, then sometimes the IVR can do 'odd' things.

@jab1 wont have that problem because he doesnt have a PN account.

Try withholding your number. On a landline , dial 1470 before the number, on a mobile I think its #31# before the number ( but not sure )

It does route the call differently when it detects a call from the registered number. TBH it should still work but if there's a 'glitch' in the system then withhiolding MAY work.
