Logging in to plusnet

Hi, can anyone tell me why I’ve not been able to log in to plusnet since well before Christmas. I can’t even do a change password in case that’s what’s wrong as it just says restart page and try again. I’m getting very frustrated now as I’d like to see when my contract is finishing and also to look at my past bills.
Any help would be gratefully received

When you say 'unable to login to Plusnet' do you mean you cannot log in to the Member Centre? What errors (if any) are reported?

A few ideas -

are you able to try using a different web browser ?
perhaps attempt to log in while in browser "incognito" or "private window" mode ?
have you selected the correct "Provider" from the drop-down list ?
the password is case sensitive - so use the 'Show' to reveal the hidden text while entering
if you are 'pasting' the username or password entries, ensure there are no stray spaces before or after

It might be worth checking if you have any Ad-Blocker software installed, usually part of your web browser. If so, try turning it off.

I use Firefox, (on Linux Mint OS), with Malwarebytes add-on and there are a number of different sites that I can no longer log in to without deactivating at least part of it.

Thank you for the suggestion, I’ve tried a different search engine snd it worked 👍🏻

Don't quite see how changing a 'search engine' helps, but if you've sorted it - good.

I assumed that @laraineq wrote "search engine", when they meant web browser - in the same way that some people on here confusingly refer to their broadband connection as "WiFi"?

I was using safari and couldn’t get on but tried google and managed to sign in 👍🏻

What version of Safari (iOS or MacOS)?

I have a mature iPad mini (iOS 9 I think) with which Safari does not work on various sites.

Hi, I messaged a couple of weeks ago about not being able to log in to my account, but fir done reason it worked using Google. But now I’m back to not being able to see my account using either safari or Google. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’m getting very frustrated as want to know how long till my contract ends

@laraineq What are you using when you attempt to log in to your account - a desktop/laptop or a mobile device? If a mobile device, which one, and what version of the operating system are you using?

Hi, I’m using my iPhone 11 and my iPad (nit sure which ine but it is old) my operating system on my phone is 18.3 and iPad is 17.7.4
I’m trying to find out when my contract ends
Any help greatfully received

We are possibly looking in the wrong direction. Those two iOS versions should be fine ... its version 9 and earlier which I would have concerns over.

EXACTLY what do you experience when attempting to access the user portal here - Login | Member Centre | Plusnet

FWIW I have no issue logging in using an iPhone on 18.2.1 - if does seem sluggish and does not display my contract details (an account issue) but it certainly logs in.

As @Townman says, you OS versions are fine - like him, I was wondering if you were using a very old version. I don't use my iPad or iPhone for browsing usually, but if I do, I don't think I have any problems.

I use Firefox as a browser across all hardware with no known issues, although I admit I don't try logging into my PN account on mobile - I'll have a play in a while when I've finished watching the footie.

Just logged into my account on both phone and tablet with absolutely no issues - and I can see full details, @Townman .

Just checked :

iPad 15.8.3 Duckduckgo - no problems.

iPhone 18.3 Safari - no problems.

Being historically a F9 customer I have to remember to change provider from Plusnet to Force9.

When I tried to log in it just says username or password nit recognised. But also when I try to do a forgotten password it says nit recognised 🤔
