Switch from FTTC to FTTP - Keep additional services?

Hi,

I'm up for renewal in a couple of months and looks like all that's available to me now is FTTP (currently on FTTC) due to exchange being Fibre Priority and WLR=Y.

If I move to FTTP does my account retain the webspace and email functionality that has been withdrawn some time ago for new customers or should I start looking now for new domain hosting and email provider. For now, they are useful services that make plusnet the value added choice over just pure internet only provider.

You can remain on FTTC for now so long as you don't wish to make changes to your service.

Upgrading to FTTP causes no change to your account and the add ons you currently have.

However, you will lose your landline by the end of Decemebr 2025 which might force a move to FTTP.

Thanks for the information. Interesting reading. If you look to the right of VDSL you see under WBC SOGEA it states "Exception"

From the narrative

It appears to be saying that SOGEA is only availble under certain circumstances and only at a speed of 40/10. If I read this correctly then you will need to move to FTTP when PTSN is withdrawn but if your phone doesn't matter to you then you can move now (or at a time of your choice).
