    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;One of my referrals has fibre broadband with Plusnet but the phone line &amp;amp; line rental is with BT…&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They've received an email from BT about being moved over to digital voice, but don't know how it will affect them.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They're happy to get rid of the land line phone, but don't know how to proceed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I wondered if they should transfer their phone line (and line rental) to Plusnet, so that they could then upgrade to full fibre and get rid of the phone line at the same time…?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'd be grateful if you could clarify this, please!&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Upgrading the phone line to digital voice will likely cease the broadband service and close their account with us.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In theory, if they upgrade to full fibre with us, the phone line should be ceased, regardless of the provider it’s with.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So that may be a better option, if not transferring the phone line to us first before upgrading to full fibre.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If they’re in what’s known as a Stop Sell area though, it’s unlikely that the phone line can be transferred.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
