      <title>Renewed for another 18 months but overbilled for first bill?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I renewed my broadband contract one month before the end of my contract, and received the email confirming I would pay £26.99 for 18 months from 3rd April and that after this it would be the standard price of £54.39. All fine.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However my latest bill is now saying that £54.39 will be taken from my bank account on 2nd May and when I log in to my account, I get the message that:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"An error has occurred&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;DIV class="u-alert__text"&gt;Does anyone know what's going on? There seems to be a lot of similar posts with people being billed the wrong amount. How do I resolve this? It's probably too late now and the money will be debited on Tuesday anyway but I'd still like the credit for the over charging.&lt;/DIV&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had the same experience. It seems the PN accounts system generates bills well in advance and takes a while to catch up with renewals. If you pay the full amount the overcharge will be credited against your next bill. The long-suffering PN staff may offer an immediate adjustment of the bill if you are in difficulties, give them a ring.&lt;/P&gt;
