I've just been connected to virgin media FTTD and I need to close my PlusNet account and get my phone line disconnected.

My contract is finished, and I've been billed for the next month at the higher rate will I get a refund when I leave

Assuming that you have moved to the Virgin cabled service then this is not a simple transfer and quite possibly has not resulted in Plusnet being advised that you are leaving. Have you contacted Plusnet and cancelled their service? If not then I suggest that you do so.

@unclesid If you have not already told them you are leaving, I expect they will require 2 weeks notice of cancellation so you will have to pay up to that point so you may get a refund for part of the next month. You won't get your final bill until around 3 weeks after the service is cancelled, so quite a wait until you know if the billing is correct.🤔
