Looking to add the BT Sport app subscription to my plusnet broadband.

I assume I'll need a BT ID for it to work?

I already have an active BT ID for BT broadband at another property so would this cause problems if I used that BT ID for the plusnet sport app or am I best to create a new BT ID?

I assume I can use the sport app on any service providers broadband or does it have to be plusnet broadband?

You'd be best setting up a new BT ID, using an existing one might cause issues or might not work.

You can use the app on any broadband / cellular connection.
